Eva Helmeth & MON COURAGE — Courage that works
In 2020, Eva Helmeth (44) launched MON COURAGE at the Entrepreneurship Summit: 400 hand-mixed skincare sticks sold quickly — proof of concept passed. What began as a bold experiment has now developed into a small business with a team of six powerful women. Without investors behind them — just bold entrepreneurial decisions and the fundamental trust to follow their own vision.
Formative events:
- Spring 2022: First large production run distributed to refugees as part of a fundraising campaign. Crowdfunding saves MON COURAGE and secures a new start.
- Autumn 2022: Eva sells her home and has been living as a nomad ever since. She travels along supply chains to find the best raw materials worldwide — directly and fairly.
- Spring 2024: Start of the Cazine research project with the University of Mainz and WITS Johannesburg — goal: the first plant-based UV filter and a new value chain in Africa.
- Spring 2025: Appearance on Die Höhle der Löwen (The Lion's Den) — 4,000 sticks sold in 24 hours.
MON COURAGE stands for rich, multifunctional skincare in stick format: with the best plant-based active ingredients, suitable for use anywhere — from face cream to lip care.
