#MEET Establishment of a Palm Oil Plantation
This is a short interview we conducted with Nnamso Esu, the creator of Establishment of a Palm Oil Plantation and Production and Processing Factory. If you like this project and would like to vote for it, click here.
My name is Nnamso Esu, 33 years, a native of Ikot Esu in Ika Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria. I worked in the palm oil industry for 6 years. Before starting Esunam Enterprises Nigeria, i was trained by African Management Initiative (AMI) in business management and entrepreneur in the youth entrepreneurship program through Federal Government of Nigeria. I began working with my father's palm oil processing as a trainee manager after my degree in Electrical Electronics Engineering. I am the founder and managing director of Esunam Enterprises Nigeria. Currently, I’m working to establish a palm fruit plantation and processing factory in my community that will create jobs for the teeming youth in the community while increasing our country GDP.
I want to promote our local palm oil through creativity and innovative packaging and healthy living through the consumption of palm oil.
What makes my idea unique is the branding. Branding is very important to any product; a product always known by its brand name, image, and quality.I have chosen this word SUPER for the palm oil brand because it can be pronounced very easily, literally and anyone can understand it. Meaning high quality, tasty food, healthy life, easy cooking, well package and traditional flavor. As the idea is new, I am welcoming my customers by giving them high quality, tasty food, healthy life and well-packaged product. it will contain no artificial sweetener, color and flavor, no animal ingredients and preservative will be used in producing my product. Also, the taste, packaging, and introduction of 250ml and 500ml to reduce the price for low-income families.
A new generation innovation.
There's a difference between having initiative and being a pest. I've found that a good gauge is to read the feedback am getting. If someone is excited to be talking to me, engaging me, and asking questions about my ideas, then I know this is someone I want to continue working with. On the opposite end, if am receiving terse responses that cut to the chase, generally it's time to direct my efforts elsewhere.
My passion lies in the innovative ideas that solve people problems.
How to fund the establishment of my idea.
A large amount of money paid to someone, for example by an insurance company or as a prize in a competition.
Networking with young creative people of all the world and the online entrepreneurship learning.
The opportunity giving us to share ideas to the development of our communities.
