Prof. Gerald Hüther will give a keynote at the Entrepreneurship Summit on October 21 and 22, 2023 at the Henry Ford Building in Berlin. Professor Hüther will present three successful entrepreneurs and show how it is possible to put what you have learned into practice and start your own business in a way that is coherent with your personality.
Following the keynote, 3 parallel workshops with the founders will take place. The Deep Dive is about "Entrepreneurship and potential development". Here you can enter into dialogue with the three entrepreneurs: Bodo Janssen, Jonas Nussbaumer and Volker Schmidt-Sköries, and deepen the impulses from the keynote.
Volker Schmidt-Sköries
Volker Schmidt-Sköries sees himself as a pioneer in the field of ethical corporate management committed to social and ecological sustainability. In 1977, he joined the young Schrotbäckerei Kaiser bakery in Wiesbaden, took over the business in 1980 and successively expanded it into an organic bakery chain. In the 1990s, he reinvented the company based on early inspirations. Volker Schmidt-Sköries is also a sought-after management consultant.
Bodo Janssen
Bodo Janssen has led his hotel company Upstalsboom out of the Corona crisis stronger than before! After a long stay in a monastery, he is intensively engaged in values, mindfulness and team leadership. He has also written several books on this subject. This so-called "Upstalsboom Way" has since become an impetus for a cultural change in the working world and a model for other companies, entrepreneurs and private individuals.
Jonas Nussbaumer and Manuel Binninger
From entrepreneurship to shaping society - the advent of a new entrepreneurial mindset. From his executive role he is significantly responsible for the strategic development of KU. His focus is primarily on the curation and development of the content with which KU works and communicates in its educational formats and projects. He studied economics, political science and cultural studies.

Gerald Hüther is one of the best-known brain researchers in Germany.
In practice, he is involved in neurobiological prevention research within the framework of various initiatives and projects. He writes non-fiction books, gives lectures, organizes congresses, works as a consultant for politicians and entrepreneurs, and is a frequent discussion guest on radio and television. Thus he is a knowledge mediator and implementer in one person.
In his public relations work, he is concerned with the dissemination and implementation of findings from modern brain research. He sees himself as a "bridge builder" between scientific knowledge and social or individual life practice. The goal of his activities is to create more favorable conditions for the development of human potential.
