#MEET Fresh Food Conservation

1. Please, tell us a bit about yourself: where are you from and what is your background?
I am an entrepreneur since 2010 where I got registered in Rwanda Development Board. I am a Mechanical Engineer since 2012 and now I'm doing an MBA in Project Management.
2. Can you describe your idea or project in two sentences?
My Idea is about fresh food conservation, such as fruits, fresh peas and beans, potatoes, cassava, yams and etc. These will be conserved to be used later, which will increase households income and welfare.
3. How did you get your idea or concept?
My idea came out when I was a little child in my village where we had much more fruits and potatoes which were not consumed. after a short period of time, these fruits were needed by many people since their season was over. From there I started thinking whether one can not have a store for these fresh fruits and food.
4. What is unique about your idea/project and how does it benefit mankind?
This Idea is unique since in Rwanda you can not find such an industry like this. Most of the projects are benefited by a few people; this is not the case for this idea. Once this idea is implemented much more people will benefit from this project by having always fresh food and fruits at a considerable price.
5. Describe yourself as an entrepreneur in one sentence
I am an entrepreneur of good quality and ability by knowledge and means.
6. How do you deal with people that doubt your abilities/initiatives?
People who can doubt about my ability these ones are very useful for me since they can make me think carefully about myself and my project to be successful.
7. Where does your passion lie?
My passion lies in the welfare of households.
8. What are you afraid of or what keeps you up at night?
I am afraid of infration; I always think about how to fight against infration.
9. According to you, money is a synonym for.....
Money is a synonym to work. This means that at any work there is money.
10. What are the benefits you take from the Entrepreneurship Campus?
Many partners, experience, and inspirations.
11. What do you like more about the Entrepreneurship Campus?
New connections.
12. Which idea/project do you like most?
Affordable and clean energy in Africa.
